Mossbery MVP Flex in 308 coming

flex MVP offered

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTHzuZu0HHw#!

At SHOT Show 2012, Mossberg rolled out its revolutionary Flex shotgun, which allowed shooters to swap out stocks, forends and recoil pads to create a completely customizable shotgun. Now, the system has been applied to the company’s MVP series, creating the Mossberg MVP Flex. A bolt-action rifle accepting AR mags is unique in itself, but the Flex system takes it a step further, making the MVP Flex customizable through interchangeable stocks, as well as the rifle’s adjustable Lightning Bolt Action trigger. The MVP Flex sports a compact barrel and is chambered in .223. The MVP Flex will be available during the second quarter of 2013 with a price point under $900. Check out the video straight from SHOT Show.

Yeah,

I saw that and it looks like a great concept, I wonder what type of mag the .308 will use. A FAL mag would be to much to hope for I think.

I believe it will use the Accuracy International pattern magazine.

JMc

P.S. And yes, they run about $50.

Well, no thanks then,lol........imagine what a rifle like this or the ruger woulda been like with a decent, readily available , affordable mag...dont they talk to people?

Make one of these that takes g3 mags, i would be first in line probably with a few thousand others.

on one of the other forums I visit - someone had asked the Ruger rep why they didn't go with FAL / other magazine - response was too many manufactures and too many dimensional tolerances.

I think Mossberg 223 users of AR mags have found you can't count on all makes to work with that bolt gun either.

Yep, almost as useless as the Tactical Double Shotgun I saw a while back.
So bolt actions are now 'HDW's'? huh? Really, where'd they find the ditz
with the microphone.

...monster truck show....

Not sure if I'd even want a boltgun with an AR pistol grip.

Where did you get that from?

I actually have one of these in 223 and every magazine I have, from Pmags to USGI to Israeli Orlite fit.

I have one too, but I do have a couple of magazines that it doesn't like.

I have 100+ AR magazines and of the ones I've tried (30 or so) only a couple of them are problematic.

Mainly just really hard to get them to latch. They feed OK once in place.
