WTB Inch Grip Stud for a decent price **FOUND**

Looking for something to use as a grip stud to fix Century bunghole stock lower. I know Gunthings has them, but it has been very difficult to get hold of them. Hoping someone has an extra they would part with. I will pay up to $15 for one shipped. I have a few odds and ends that I could trade for something of equal value. Let me know if you have one to sell or are looking for something in trade.

Easy peasy.

I bought a "bronze flange bushing" at my local hardware store.
The dimensions on the blister pack are:

1/4 x 3/8 x 15/32 x 1/2

All in inches.
Manufacturer was listed on blister pack as: HILLMAN.

Cost about $1.25

If Century made the hole too big for the flange, a thin washer under it will fix that!

Hoot. Found that bushing and it fit perfectly. Should have bought the 2 that they had at Ace. Wasn't sure it would fit when I picked it up today.

Awesome idea. I am going pick a couple up tomorrow.
Blackgun you should move this to the Gunsmithing section or Hoot G you should post this there as cheap fix as a Century Beaver Bushing fix.

BlackgunCO, that's awesome! I'm glad it worked for ya.

G3isMe, this is a trick that used to be in the G/S forum. Pretty commonly posted back when all the Century kits were getting taken apart. I forget who I borrowed the idea from, but it helped me on a build. It would be a good thing for a mod to sticky this in that forum, methinks.

L/FN does great work permanently fixing those trigger housings too! Looks a lot like it's original.
