Panzer goes Distinguished at Perry

Our lad fired a score yesterday in the National Trophy Individual match ("Leg" match) at Camp Perry that put him 24th of 870 non-distinguished shooters, and earned him his final points to be awarded the coveted Distinguished Rifleman Badge, henceforth to be worn proudly on the uniform.

Well done, young-un! There's a celebratory tot of something waiting for you on your return.

Well I didn't see Panzer in the pics, but now I know why I can't win a match at the nationals...I am just too damn good looking..just sayin..

Just saw this. Thank you guys.

As far as on stage, the Army does not allow you to go on stage to recieve the award. It is to be presented to me by an officer of some sort. should be another month or two before I get it. The Army doesent number them either. But being in the National Guard, it put me in the low 600 range for Guard solders to recieve it since 1884... so I got that going for me, which is nice...
