Century March special Yugo SKS

Just got my Century "broken stock" $99 special. I sure wasn't expecting much, figured I'd get a splintered stock, sewer pipe bore, just really bottom of the barrel stuff.
Boy, was I wrong! Stock has 1 small crack, bore is slightly dark, but should clean up nicely. Bluing is probably 70-75%. I think this is probably as good as some of the ones others are selling for well over $150. It may have just been a freak accident or mixup, but I'm sure not complaining!
Dare I say that Century did great????!!!!!
Here is a link to some pics, for some reason I couldnt get them to upload to huntingpictures.com. Check out the carving on the stock. http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/Albu...a=30141242&f=0

thanks, Red, and I hope to find out how it shoots soon. Maybe I can pick up some rounds this weekend, at least enough for a test session.

Its too bad Mohamed didn't spend as much time cleaning these as he did carving them up. Mine didn't have any cracks in the stock but it wasn't the best stock I have ever seen. The problem with mine was it jamed on almost every shot when I took it out to the range. I cleaned it up a little better and will take it out and see if it works any better now. I hope yours works better than mine has so far.

I was pleasantly surprised with mine as well. The stock was actually not cracked and the only damage that I could find was the front sight hood is bent (looks like someone hit it on something). Well worth the $99.

Wow, that is a damn good deal for a century note. Wish that rifle could talk. It might have some interesting Bosnian stories to tell.
