need turk mauser help
the front site is way off, shoots about a foot to the right of target at 50 ft, any tips on how to adjust the site? this is my first mausers, CAI of course, never gettin a gun from them again, and not just cuz o f this mauser

Just by chance, what does the last 2-3 inches of the muzzle end of the inside of your barrel look like? What does the crown look like?

If the muzzle end looks worn, this may crate innacuracy. Also check that the barrel itself is straight. To move the point of impact by moving the front sight, the following acronym will be helpful: FORS, Front Opposite; Rear Same. If you want to move the point of impact to the left, move the Front site to the right and the Rear to the left.
I have an M1 carbine that shoots way to one side. When I put it in the stock, the barrel contacts the stock on one side more than the other (the barrel is slightly bent to one side). Since it shoots good groups for a carbine, I moved the sight dramtically to one side and use it that way.
