CZ52 conversion barrels
Has anyone used one of the 9mm conversion barrels, and if so, how did it work out?

Shortround, I have one of the Federal Arms drop-in bbls in 9mm for my CZ. The bbl does in fact drop right in BUT you have a 50:50 or better chance that you'll have to file on the extractor to get it to grap the 9mm case consistently. I had to do this. Tap out the pin. Remove extractor. File face at the same angle. Replace extractor and pin. Re-
assemble pistol. Rire round. repeat until it works. I bought an original extractor for JIC I want to put back to the original caliber. Also, I heard that the rollers FAC installed on the bbls is a touch soft and that they will eventually get a flat side on them. Then it's defeating their intended purpose and the pistol will eventually malfunction. I'm ordering a set of hardened steel ones if I can find the website of the company that makes them. also, you can use the original mags for 9mm but mine won't chamber reloads. Only UMC and WIN will feed reliably- Seems to be an OAL issue. Hope this helps-please excuse the long post.

Thanks guys. LAFAL, Let us know if you find the roller manufacturer. Also, where did you find your extractor?
