All you bast***s that told me about Busse-kin...

...are killing my wallet. That, and I am spending hours looking for deals on the next knife that I really, really need.

So I just said "I'll take it" to a new RMD-LE for $170 (good, huh?), and I'm trying to figure out how I'll get both an SAR6-LE AND a Team Gemini Light Brigade-sized piece of INFI. Great.

Oh, and my 10-year-old said that he wants to spend his birthday money on a Sykco 311, and would I please buy him a sheath.

So I'm more broke than ever, no thanks to you all. And by "you all", I specifically mean sportsnut and Andy the Aussie.

Don't forget to check the Company Store for a fancy new Sarge-7 in satin or doublecut finish.

Man, that is a good looking knife! I'm stuck on the SAR6, though, as it looks like the knife I've been trying to get out of my head for, oh, about 35 years.... I would love a Battle Mistress - if I thought I were strong enough to throw that big girl around like she needs to be.

As it is, I am already trying to tell myself that there is NO reason on earth to own the Team Gemini/Light Brigade thing, but it isn't working so far. I'm actually thinking which guns I'm selling to buy knives??!!! Stupid.

Actually, Colonel, the more I look at that, the more I can't tell the difference between it and the SAR6 I thought I needed to have? Is overall length is the main difference?

Maybe you could learn me a thing or two about the two knives?

YOUR WELCOME....

So if I post up the pic of the box that is about to arrive here with FIVE TGLBs inside will it help or hurt you...????

Had the TG reckoning (when you are selling organs and sperm to cover the cost it is a reckoning not a BILL ) not just happened I would be on one of those double cut SARGE7s like stink on poop...!!! As I recall the 7 is about the same weight as the 6 thanks to the LB treatment ....they are a sweet knife....OH....yeah....I just "scored" a Double Cut ASH1 and leather sheath (both new) for a GREAT price.... ...what was better is that it was out here in Aus so shipping does not cost me a nut....Oh..... did I post a pic of the MBCs that arrived....

It is the latest in the SAR series.
The blade is longer, Full height flat grind, no thumb notches, and it is milled out under the scales for lighter weight.

I once sold several knives including two Busse swords to buy a rifle. It is just converting one awesome thing into another. Team Gemini doesn't really do it for me. If it had a single guard I would like it more.

Sorry Gent's, I just don't buy all the hype about these knives, maybe brunop can show me different at the FAL shoot, but, I doubt it.

The frickers must not hold an edge Andy, or you sharpen them too much?

INFI is really just careful heat treatment.

I wish BK could send you all of their knives.

Do you re-sell the knives you get Andy?

That is part of the equation, INFI is a proprietary steel developed by Jerry Busse. The other steels used also benefit from the excellent Heat treat.

There. I don't know whether to be happy or ashamed. And I continue to blame you all. And you know who you are.

They certainly DO hold and edge... I think I have sold TWO knives in my life, the rest have either been worn out, broken or are not going ANYWHERE...

Yup. Had the INFI sickness really bad myself for a while. The f@#$%&s multiply faster than you can find shelves and drawers for them. I had to force myself to liquidate some before it got totally out of hand. I just kept the ones that "felt right" more than the others. I sold off all 3 of my SFNOLEs because, as beautiful as that knife is, it just didn't fit me well. Sold almost everything that wasn't satin finish. Etc, etc.

Now I try to stay off the Busse sub-forum as much as I can lest my Visa card melt. Like an alcoholic staying out of bars.

Good luck I do not think there is a cure.....

I know I need at least one. I've been lusting for one since I saw the major torture it withstood on youtube from KnifeTests.com. Impressive and amazing!

Just landed a double cut ASH1 .... bought locally....knife is great but the seller has shorted me a couple of important parts of the custom sheath, I am hoping he just missed packing them up.

This is what I was trying to buy before I ended up with the Nuclear Melt version, which has a longer blade than this (it looks like it...).
