What's with the bizarre muzzle device? Is that a US compliance part or some ultra-rare part made for the Tasmanian Defense Force?

More important, do you have any idea if the original muzzle threads and/or keyway has been mucked with?

I will answer those questions as soon as I receive it after the auction

The one important question here is whats the condition of the barrel? Pits, grooves, etc. Thanks

Only 14 day auction, ends Mothers Day
The barrel has strong rifling, no rust, no pitting, pic's are hard to show real condition of inside barrel.

kit

I got a chance to paw this kit over today - at our local toy show.
This barrel is as close to NOS inside as they get. Bore is great.!!!!!!!!
I sold one this shape last year for $550.00 alone.
There is typical pitting under the pistol grip.
It can be either blasted and parked or for the skilled guy a bit of fill and file work and it will be super. nothing up on the stud.
That comp threads right off and the original Flash Hider threads are intact and very good.
If it weren't for my taxes I'de be in on the auction myself.
If you want a nice build get in on this one.

One of the few numbers matching Aussie kits I have ever seen.. Wish I had the cash at the moment, I would be in this for sure.
