Best Muzzle Thingy For A Romanian -47

My first AK kit came with only a muzzle nut, and I'm trying to decide what to put up front. Part of me wants it to look "right" for a Romanian 7.62x39, and part of me wants it to hide flash well and not subtract any more from the typical AK accuracy.

I've never needed/wanted a brake on my FAL, so I'm not so concerned with braking ability.

What do you recommend?

Get the slanted barrel nut. Still look kind of original and will be functional.

I was thinking the same thing, but I read the asymmetrical design is terrible for accuracy, and the brake part really only helps control it in full auto. I think the look is right though - maybe I'll try it and see.

I really like the moses Hurricane I have on my FAL, but can't decide how funny it would look on an AK. Any other suggestions?

I twisted an AMD65 brake on my Romanian UF...looks good, just don't let anyone stand off to the sides when touching some off.

I like flash-hiders. Tried alot of differant stuff. Right now I got a Krebs M16 Cage style on my main AK.

El-cheapo cage styles work pretty good. For an "Authentic" AK look though the slant-style compensators are nice too.
