WTS Australian L2A1 Parts Kit

Complete Australian L2A1 kit.Chrome lined bore is in excellent condition bright with strong rifling no pitting.Wood is in good shape some dings but no cracks.Tangent rear sight/top cover,carrying handle and sight ears are present.Bipod wood has been cleaned and metal reparked by a member of the board.Bolt and carrier ser# does not match the lower.Barrel has various proofs but no ser#.PM or email me if any further info is needed.

Wow, that's a holy grail!

Just upgraded my photographic capabilities today, oh well.
Good luck with the sale, this is an almost impossible set to put together.

That rear sight top/cover is way too cool.
Ahh wonder why they did that, what was the thinking there?
Did it return to zero every time you cleaned the gun. That's some tight tolerances to even go there.

Whats the lug on the bottom backside of the barrel for?

That is the catch to hold up the bipod when not in use.

You do have a pre-ban Entreprise receiver, right? If you build it on an IMBEL, I'll kill ya.

I've got a mertic Hesse that I dremmed out to kinda fit inch mags. I think it's pre-ban. It would give your kit a badass look!

Re the thinking on the sight on the cover not holding zero. It's intended use is a full auto light machine gun, a cone pattern of fire is better than lazer beam of fire every time when you're hosing for coverage.

My friend used to have a presample L2A1 which I fired extensively.

It doubled my pulse every time I pulled the trigger and dumped a mag.
