wierd .308 FMJ bullets seen at gunshop yesterday.
was at a local shop yesterday and he had what appears to be about 50 .308 147 Gr FMJ bullets that are black .....WTF. not moly coated but what appears to be black paint covering the entire bullet and no they are not steel core.
no pull marks can be found but what the hell are these, maybe they where suppose to be loaded into a display belt for dummy MG ammo, just looked strange to me having never seen them before.

Can it be bullets like this Norma Diamond Line..... they are supposed to be better for the gun... less friction so it won't be too ruff on the gun... they are made 4 sport shooters...

that is the color but it is not a moly coat, appears to be painted 147 grain FMJ .308 bullets. you can scratch the black off and they don't have that slick feel of molycoated bullets.
I weighed a few and they run 147.5 to 149 grain but why would anyone do this to just the bullets?
