STG kits

Anyone ever do buisness with Florida gun works they have stg 58 kits and claim matching #'s pic on webpage look good, so, are they for real matching kits or is it a bunch of bull?
I was wanting a NICE #'s matching G1 or STG 58 kit, then I saw a nice L1A1 kit, and am still kicking around the Idea of an ARGY kit, oh yeah almost forgot about an ISSY kit, man this FAL thing is going to be hell on my bank account

Decisions, decisions

Do some reading before ordering anything from FGW or Florida Armory, same outfit.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/guns-ran...sale-583d5.htm

Lots of simular stories on the www.

They are on top of my NO-NO list.

FSE also lists STG kits, matching.
I don't know anything about FSE.
Just bumped into their offer.

Avoid Florida Gun Works. Most of the stuff listed they do not have in stock (e.g. Argie lugged barrels). I suspect they keep those up there to entice you to order and then hope you buy some other overpriced readily available items. Also, note they no physical address and no phone listed. They do not respond to e-mails. Somebody once traced them back to a store front somewhere around Miami.

9600 range StG should have an egg/crown marked barrel. Looks like a humpback plastic stock too. Something doesn't seem quite right. Ask question before you buy. I'm guessing a forced kit, not original barrel. I could be wrong......

Wouldn't a 9600 serial range StG be entirely blued? The barrel on this one looks parked in the pictures provided. Agreed, some clarfication from the seller is required.

Interesting how the seller shows the serial on all parts BUT the barrel. As Chris states, it should be marked like this:

But it isn't.

This missing egg/crown and omission of serial is a red flag IMHO. It is possible to have a Belgian barrel without the egg and crown. I have a 59' Belgian StG barrel with early styled 59' gas block, no egg/no crown. Later production range 24k. I'm assuming the non egg/crown styled FN barrels to show up after the initial 20k.
