Video Of Police Shooting Prompts Dismissal Of Charges
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors have dropped attempted murder charges against a man who was shot in November by Orlando police officers who claimed he tried to ram them with his van.
The decision came after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement obtained surveillance video that appears to show an Orlando police pickup truck pushing the van into other officers' vehicles. http://www.clickorlando.com/news/29019754/detail.html

 Thank goodness for video. That guy could have been put away for 10+ years over the officers' lies. As it is he only has a bullet wound over it. I can't believe that they are still trying to stick him with "attempting to flee or evade" given that his vehicle was parked when he got rammed from the front and rear. Taking this to its logical conclusion, if an officer pushes you off a building you could be charged with "attempting to flee" from an officer?

If you lie under oat you go to jail, if a cop does it, its just part of his job.
