Internet Control
The G8, including King Barry, are meeting and at the top of their agenda? Reign in uncontrolled spending? The economies of their countries? Nope, it's how to regulate the internet.
The free exchange of information is something that has to be brought under government control, it threatens the power and perks of the elites and ruling class. http://www.csmonitor.com/Commentary/...b786edffca%2C0

It worked in Egypt and Libya. In order to have effective "community organization" you must control the flow of information. That way the "enemies" intel is disrupted and makes it difficult for him to command and control any resistance. Barky is big on community organization, information control and enemies lists...

Socialsits, statists, dictators and despots their aims are the same, it's just they ascribe different motives to the aim of ultimate control over every aspect of the peoples lives.

If I log on to the the files one day and the site is down, I'm gabbing my rifle and my gear, I'll know the SHTF...
Well, maybe I'll give it a few hours in case the server is down...

Our supposedly hip progressive mayor just installed a community surveillance system with 20 cameras to monitor the people. Keeping up with the Chinese I guess.............

I believe organizations like the G8 smell a buck to be made by regulating the internet as sales are becoming a larger part of consumer purchases and free from most taxes.
From a political perspective, social networking can make or break a leader if not a government. Obama used this to his advantage and perhaps he now want to regulate it. Politicians bewarned to stay out of our freedoms or start looking for a real job.

As Jeff Cooper used to always say, the reason politicians are terrified at the thought of AKs/ARs/etc in the hands of the average citizens is because they are afraid one day they would be used against them. The same thing applies to freedom of information on the internet to combat government propaganda.
