Mystery part. what could it be?
I found this part knocking around in the bottom of the parts bin. I have no idea where i got it. Any ideas what firearm it wants to live with?

Sarco also has this part listed as an IMI Galil auto-sear. would the AK and the Galil share common parts?

I think it is galil, or maybe valmet. The trip radius is distinctive in that it isn't a radius, it is an angle. The solid (cast/milled AK ones I have are much more curved. I have a couple of the galil ones and they are the same except no number stamped. Also indicative is the flat machined on the front of the hinge axle hole, which would face the mag well. On my cast/milled AK ones, this is round, not flat. I'm wondering if the number is to designate a dimensional variation?

Looks to me to be an original FA/Safety sear for AKs made in the 50's and early sixties. They have since been replaced with the curved ones. I had one in a 1954 dated Russian Type 2 milled receiver kit a few years ago.
