Question Restaurants, Cafes in Pelosi's District Eat Up Health Care Law Waivers

Hmm, I guess "we need to pass it to see what's in it" doesn't jive with her district.

"Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco district was the hands-down winner in the latest set of health care law waivers announced by the Obama administration."

Actually, what the real story is that these businesses in San Francisco have real reasons to get relief or die.
San Francisco has set a minimum wage far higher than the federal standard, forced all businesses to provide full health insurance for all their employees. Those and other onerous regulations have increased to cost of doing business in that city to near the breaking point.
That was the real story that the reporter failed to report.

It has been the fault of both pacifism and liberalism in the past that they have ignored the immense burden of inherited evil under which society and civilization labour and have planned an imaginary world for an impossible humanity. We must recognize that we are living in an imperfect world in which human and superhuman forces of evil are at work and so long as those forces affect the political behaviour of mankind there can be no hope of abiding peace.

Is this a surprise to anyone? Hypocrisy and the neo Marxist party are not strangers. The waiver/exemption list grows every month...

The unions got their waivers early on, but that's no surprise.
