Just twisted up another shorty!
This one's nearly all DSA parts, 13" barrel, tritium front and back. I like the tritiums...
I've never seen an upper lock to a lower this nicely, no wiggle at all- shoots like a dream- good job DSA!

That looks like it will be nicely finished and fun to use...
So how or are you planning on putting a finish on it? I'm just curious, some folks like that dual tone look.

Gunkote, but not sure what color scheme yet.
The duo tone was unplanned, first time I've ever used a stainless lower. I was skeptical about the stainless lower cause of extra weight but it's surprisingly hard to notice. Also, the lack of wobble has convinced me to keep it on.

I must interject an observation after seeing you two guys AWESOME looking shorty's!!! There is ONLY one thing missing..........and that are the Bi-pods!! Just my opinion but I think the lil short legs sure go a long way on the shortys!!
Again, just my opinion....and with an added $1.00 YOU might get a cold drink! ![]() LC

I just don't see ever using a tiny little bipod.... it is a cool detail though, without a doubt.
I had my first shorty with a para stock and I took it off and sold it, I can't ever get a really good cheek weld with it, the fixed stock is worlds better IMO. Somehow I ended up with another para kit, just hanging out, I'll never use it. Yeah, that gun gives me wood too Torque, and I'm really not the biggest fan of L1A1's.
