g1 fal question
hi guys, posted a thread a while back titled fal problems, long story short i was able to send it off and exchange the gun. i recieved my new to me century g1 fal, when i got if out of the box i noticed the sights were different. the front sight from the side has half circle holes which you can see through and the rear sight is noticeable longer. i am not very knowledgeable in fal's. i have been surfing this sight for a little while, judging by the pictures i've seen these sights almost look like inch pattern sights. is this even considered a g1 or have i been franken-fal'd.

You have the high sights on it. Your rifle was built with some BGS parts ( rear sight, gas block). I seen one at the last gunshow I went to that also had a type A lower.
