Origin of this barrel

It's one of the metric barrels from Apex. Bore is in very good shape, outside is worn and shows reminants of green/black/yellow paint. It's kind of neat looking over the different barrel markings.

There are many more things that make the ID than the MU. There are FN parts with the MU. They were from the initial SA contract from FN. The lettering on the caliber, the D with numbers in it, and the crossed flags with U and P, are all SA markings.

Looks like those threads could use some help. A good chase couldn't hurt.

I have a south african HTS set with the MU on the hammer and the trigger has Belgian markings on it.

That's cool. You could probably sell them in the marketplace pretty easily as FN MU stuff seems to be in demand.

Aaron I tried a couple of months ago to sell the set for 15 bucks and no takers. Figured before I went any lower for them I woul just keep em.
