Vote - New Style DR-200/DR-300 Grips in the works.
Guys,
Been working on a new design with the molder. What do you guys think? Skinny Grip, HK Style Molded Grip, Factory Grip ![]() ![]() pics of them on my rifle. since i had to mount them one at a time, i didn't have any way to compare them at the same time but they all felt good. skinny grip, if you like AK grips, you'll like this one. hk style grip, i actually liked this one. only for right handed shooters but it felt good. if you're an hk rifle fan, you'll like this one. original style. it was kinda weird going back to it after playing with the other too. i definitely notice the wider bottom more after playing with the other two.

You need to put them on a Daewoo so we can see what they look like in use!!!

Maybe make a mix, basically like the original but put the HK style thumbrest on it!

Original grip.
There are few enough owners out there that excluding 8-15% of them by making a grip only useful to the right-handed isn't good sense. |

I like the profile of the molded grip, but I'd like it better if it DIDN'T have the thumbrest. If you ever shoot the rifle off your weak side or if you're a lefty, that grip would be a real PITA to use.
I'm right handed and right eye dominant, but I have shot matches that had a stage where you shot from your weak side, so I don't care for grips that require the shooter to only shoot right handed. On this issue, I'd have to vote for the original as my first choice and the molded grip as #2.

bump. got the prototypes finalized and these will start to be produced soon. let me know if you want one and what style and i'll start a list. it'll get me an idea of how many to do in the first run.
let me know by 9-18 which style you want and i can get them for you at the same price as the other grips at $40. orders after 9-18 will be at $45. |
