Do you know how much money your collection cost me? I saw pictures of your collection and said "I want a collection like THAT one day!"

BTW, my wife says to tell you she hates you!

Davesrb

Well, not completely your fault. There were a couple other killer collections that inspired me...

No, it was basically a variant of a Belgian design I believe.. Pretty much the same as a G rifle or an early G1 a model. At least it has all the features of a metric except for a different hand guard.

Alright, I can get past the no concrete, no alcohol, and no toes in the pics since you've got matching color mags in all the rifles, but where's the scratches? Where's the paint? Where's the brass kisses? You've got some chick on a CD case on the end table there (and it ain't a chick like on a Scorpions album cover) but you got no brass kisses?

I will not dare you, but will instead encourage you to show some pics of those beautiful rifles doing their job.

Here is the reason for no brass kisses....note the Izzy HB... I make my brass buffers out of the soft rubber handgun grip tape ...They work great are cheap and peal off easily with no marks in the finish

Is there a "true" "assault" weapon in there?
You know, as issued to myriad armed forces the Free world over?

DAVESRB says he used this as a goal for a future collection.....well I guess by proxy, I must have also so SINCE I AM using DAVESRB's collection as an ultimate collection goal! Both of you guys just don't have a clue of what you have turned my life into!

Seriously Love the collection since the first time I saw this when this thread was first started, don't think I could have handled BOTH you guys collections at once, I am glad it was later that I saw this

Again BEAUTIFUL!!

T-48 Fals Inch/Metric

Quote Topbanna

To answer your question, Yes the American made T-48's that were produced by H+R and High Standard were inch Fals, But the Belgium made ones were Metric.
Reason that the American made Fals were Inch was that technically no one in the USA at the time made Metric type weapons or parts or for anything else for that matter, The USA was a standardized inch country back then. The drawings / blue prints for the Inch Fal's were converted from the Canadian Metric blue prints they had from FN.

It is a nice collection and I do not have its equal.

But, the collections that I find awe inspiring are those of Buddy ****** and Reed Knight.
