Indian Buttstock on Inch Lower

Anyone do this?
I have a Nice Indian Butt stock and Inch lower I would like to put together. Looks like with dremil and some time I could get it to fit, but would hate to screw up both of them.

I wouldn't do it!! You can sell the Indian buttstock or trade it for an inch butt. That way you get what you need and someone else gets a Indian butt. If you mess it up nobody gets anything. I have a very nice NOS Aussie buttstock that someone(not me) tried to make fit a metric. All they did was destroy a very nice butt stock.

Yeah, the Indian buttstock is designed for a metric style tang.. You can easily mount it on a metric receiver but I cannot see how you would be able to modify either of them and get a satisfactory result..

If the Indian Buttstock is in good condition it is worth something to someone because most of them are beat to hell..
