If those are all full you can count on your bench not moving.

The parts are mostly chinese, except I did add some US parts, so I think I'm OK on my 922(r) count now.

Yes, those ARE all full.
The lady of the house is quietly pleased that it isn't all lying in the walkways now.

Unless a couple of those cans or boxes are full of .32-20 and .32 S&W Long, you will be loading sooner than you think!

What is the top surface made out of?

My daughter built up a similar commercial bench for her Rock Cucker and the top broke when she was sizing cases. You can put a bit of leverage on that edge when you stroke that handle!

Folks tell me its MDF.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium-density_fibreboard

Turns from light to dark when you hit it with polyurethane.

We'll see how it holds up.

Worst thing could happen is it breaks, and I have to go to plywood.

WEG: Just a thought - I made the top for my new mini-man cave bench out of an old SOLID core 36" front entrance door - cut in half length wise. Makes for a real solid reloading bench top and gives me 12' of smooth top!
