Looks like DSA is cleaning house.

They have a number of receivers including some prototypes for sale on Gunbroker. Interestingly, they also have some Hesses ($300), Enterprises(400) and Rosarios(690).

Type 4 receiver for 300WSM

How about a DSA FAL in .260 Remington? Great ballistics, and it's still supersonic at 1200 yards.

Or, you could go with a Cobb multi-caliber rifle, anything from 9mm to .338 Lapua.

DSA

I suspect many of there receivers like this are byproducts of the gunsmithing department there. They're an FFL, so why not?

A FAL in something more than 308... sure, how about .358 Win, or maybe .243, or .260, or even 8MM? It's all been done. What do you want exactly? Give it some thought. Lots of us here can and have done that sort of thing. Ask around.

Had not heard of the Cobb. I googled it and it does seem like it would be a fun addition. It will be added to the list.

I just read Cobb got bought out by bushmaster and won't be making anymore multi-caliber rifles... oh well, most good ideas get destroyed by big companies.

It's a conspiracy, man! Bushmaster also bought out & shelved the water powered car!

I see they are going to be making some receivers with the G1 markings as well. That is what I am waiting for. Sure makes me wish I had bought more Entreprise receivers, or hung onto them, $400 is still a bit more than I paid for them. But that was then, this is now. Stuff is never as less expensive as it once was.

the 300WSM would be a perfect addition for a more powerful cartridge in a compact case. has anyone made one yet.

Not a single bid on that $800 receiver. That's odd. LMAO!

The funny part is DSA may actually have these particular receivers in stock, which could be a first for them.

There's no point in chambering an FAL in a flat-shooting cartridge such as .260 or .300 WSM, as the platform is typically not accurate enough to make it useful at the longer ranges. 1200 yards?? LMAO, you'd be lucky to hit minute-of-barn with an FAL at 1000 and at 1200 yards maybe minute-of-mountain.
