1903A3 s

I have a pair of 03A3s one Remington dated 12-43 and a Smith Corona 6-43. The SC is a parts gun that my friend restored . The Remington is all original with matching numbers and the original cleaning kit in the butt trap. I purchased the Remington at a gun show around 1990. It has all the proper cartouches and has seen a bit of use with a large crack in the fore end, but the metal in very good shape. Is there place were I can find the history of this rifle. If it had been and where it was issued and used.
