Happy Thanksgiving from DSA!

I want to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving from my family, and the folks at DSA! I hope you will all have a restful day filled with good food and good spirits. I for one will be cooking much of the day, and am looking forward to digging into some properly smoked turkey!

Food was fantastic, Cowboys won, fire burning brightly, old fogies dozing on the sofa, kids watching Charlie Brown; About to make a Baley's and Coffee and play some Spades with the family. It's been a good one! I hope each and every one of you had a good one as well. Happy Thanksgiving!

Us too, but as this is the first attempt at smokin' a turkey here there are some crossed fingers

If it comes out a bit "off" we'll just keep right on drinkin' till it tastes just right.

The turkey smoked up just right at our place. The Green Egg is always dependable. No dry meat, lots of smoke flavor, and a nice even result. Of course more than we could eat, but at least some quality leftovers!
