WTS Gunsmithing services in CO
As some of you may know I am currently finishing up school at the Colorado School of Trades in Lakewood CO. I will be completing the Design and Function section at the end of this month and beginning the Specialization section in September. This time is for students to learn and work on whatever it is they wish to do. This also allows students to earn some money as they are considered gunsmiths at this point. Students are allowed to do whatever they wish as long as it is 1. Safe 2. Legal 3. Gun related.
As such, I will start accepting work at the beginning of September. I have full access to a full service gunsmith shop. Prices are reasonable, and turn around should be quick. I will only be accepting work 2 weeks out as I am still testing my record keeping system and will be tweaking that as I go. Mods, please let me know if this breaks any rules? I briefly read the ones posted at the top, but other than posting a price, I don't see anything wrong with offering services. Please email me at myers.n@gmail.com for qoutes on work. Please include a full explanation of what you wish to have done including make and model of firearm. Specialties: 1911: everything from trigger jobs to full on builds AK types: refinishing, service work, and possibly builds FAL: threading, re-barreling, refinishing AR's: assembling, free float tubes, refinishing(metal) Sporter rifles: thread/chamber, refinish I have the ability to offer Parkerizing, Hot Salt Bluing, and Rust Bluing in a variety of polishes. Due to the way the school and FFL is laid out (per ATF) I can only accept work from Colorado residents. (which sucks I know... tell me about it) I can do non-FFL work for those who are not CO residents. Thread barrels for MB, assemble AR uppers, refinish parts etc. thanks -myers

What about lengthening forcing cones on shotguns? I've got a couple 870's that need it done?
I've also got some Millet sights that need installation on a 1911.

No problem. I'll double check Kuhnhausen and see if he lists the measurements.
