I've got a standard US milspec M16 sling on a metric frankenfal and a surplus British sling on my L1.

Both are solid and reliable and can be had for cheap money from any of the usual outlets - cheaper than dirt, sportsmans guide, etc, etc.

Both were brand new in the military packaging, I think I only paid like 4 bucks for the Brit sling........................the shipping was more....LOL

Rooster's tactical slings are the shizzle. And he designed them with a fal in mind. Plus you'd be supporting a board member which never hurts. I like that it is a 3 point but I can also use it as a normal sling if I choose. And the quick detach ability could be useful in certain situations.

Otherwise I just use cheap military surplus l1a1/enfield slings. I see them at about every gun show I go to.

My bro's got that on his XCR. It's sweet. I wish the buckles were spaced further apart so the weapon could be carried closer to the body yet still be able to have enough slack for a proper hold when shouldered, but it's a very minor point of contention. I have long arms. If I had the time and material, I'd make my own out of an old GM seat belt and buckle. That would be the cat's ass.
