Read just enough to see it's the same old song.

"If the vote were to be held TODAY.........."

Well, it isn't. Gonna be quite some time in fact. There has been talk about ramming this through using certain Congressional rules but even those "in power" say it would be a bad idea that while "on the table" is not very likely to happen. Even those "in power" realize there has got to be some bipartisan agreement and gov't -vs- private industry agreement.

What the final landscape will be is anybody's guess, but it won't be like what you posted up.

Of course any word of any piece of legislation can be changed at any time. Some people are lazy can't or don't want to think for themselves. I'm not psychic nor do I claim to be, but if you want to know what the goals are they can generally be found in the original draft of the legislation.

If you're not interested, don't care or want the CHRIS MATTHEWS/KEITH OLBERMANN version of the truth, that is entirely up to you!

On Friday, commie Senator Bernie Sanders was interviewed by Laura Ingraham.
He was shouting that there is no bill and was no bill and no bill would likely even be printed before August at the earliest.

I am happy to see that you cannot trust a lying commie anytime, anyday, anywhere.

The final bill wil be "speed read" and no one will ever know what is in the bill until weeks later.

Let's just say I'm "in the health care industry" and it is VERY likely there won't be any bill until at LEAST August. I will predict that whatever it is will not get rammed through but will have MUCH comment from MANY sources including Conservatives, drug companies and private insurers such as Humana and BCBS etc.

Largely BS. The private insurers aren't going to have ANY influence whatsoever, they may have a lot to say but no one is lisenting. That is largely because of the rationing and other games they have played as an industry over the years to keep collecting premiums and avoid paying benefit.

Providers and consumers have both come to see them as the enemy and just like the UNIONS vs. the automakers, nobody be cryin for no automakers.

Providers with a national presence and those with a regional presence are trying at this very moment to carve up the country to get their slice of the pie and the salaried "DOCTORS" who work for them are touting LOUDLY the "BENEFITS" of a single-payer system.

The game is to ELIMINATE the private insurers, not outlaw them, rather render them redundant. Like taking a fish out of water.

The private insurers are the flock, the politicians and the regional and national providers are the pack of wolves.

I have no sympathy for these particular sheep. But I am insured by them and I have ALWAYS paid my own premiums with after-tax dollars. And me with my monthly premiums and my insurer BCBS with my contract with them make my health-care decisions, not some "DOCTOR" on a government payroll. When THAT occurs, NONE of us will have ANY SAY WHATSOEVER in our own health care.

Its is NOT any advantage to the consumer, the patient, to remove the private insurers from the loop however evil they may be.

THEY ARE THE CHECK AND BALANCE IN THE SYSTEM. AND AT LEAST FOR THE TIME BEING THIS IS STILL A CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

Go to a public hospital in Great Britain or in Canada or France or RUSSIA and you'll get a good idea of where this is headed. Dirty floors, surgical implements rinsed off in cold water and reused and durt under the fingernails of the "DOCTORS" who "TREAT" you.

I wouldn't worry. Obama will help you with lots of tin foil, so you won't run out of hats.

Hope this helps.

Here is a nice little YOUTUBE vid of BHO in his own two faces explaining his strategy and some of his agents vilifying and trying to make all private insurers THE ENEMY.

Also Obama has been using hius fund-raising list and his PAC to raise mioney for the fight, that should show you how important they view the ObamaCare to their agenda.

ALSO ABC is going to do a White House INFOMERCIAL with NO OPPOSING viewpoints in SUPPORT OF OF OBAMACARE.

THEY ARE PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS IF THEY ARE ALLOWED TO WIN A PUBLIC OPTION FOR HEALTHCARE WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GO BACK!

I see a major whitewater rapid in front of the Barakula Administration.
Do you think he can serve two masters? His largest donor group by
far is the Trial Lawyers Association and the Doctors want caps on
malpractice, good luck cutting lawyers out of a paycheck. Is the plan
to have public sector doctors and private pay doctors? The California
Nurses Association has been very active here in Houston starting early
last year trying to recruit ahead of the Anointed Ones Coronation. The
unions will factor in as well. Way too many 'special' interests to make
happy.

You're right, so watch the video and listen well to what he said, he wants a "SINGLE-PAYER SYSTEM" that means NO private insurence, no medigap insurence nothing but medicare expanded to everyone.

The larger national and regional providers have been banking on this for some time and are already practicing their own system of rationing so they will be ready to get their slice of the pie.

Listen to the unions, they are vilifing the private insurers.

Just wondering what the wait will be like when 20M+ individuals are added to the current healthcare workload without a proportional increase in healthcare personell. Like sick-call in the military...

ASTIUTE OBSERVATION - THAT will no doubt be one of the biggest contrpl mechanisms/excuse for RATIONING which of sourse will serve as the genus of the NEXT crisis for the expansion of government authority, increased tazes and the further dimunition of vhoice and individual liberty when it comes to healthcare.

For example as in GB now a woman with Stag IV or worse Breasy Cancer gets NO treatment, she is simply allowed to die, she may still get surgery but she will not get chemo or radiation.

One of the side-effects will be the creation of a black markt in drugs and therapies and in scams and quackery to bleed the desperate and dying of their estates.

AN EXAMPLE:

http://www.liberty-page.com/issues/h.../nygrisly.html

Its not about healthcare its about control.

Bingo!!!!!!!

Control of the MONEY---look who benefits from obama's legislation, any of it...it is always his buddies. Chicago style corruption gone national. Anything obama does funnels MONEY TO HIS BUDDIES who give him back the power to steal even more.

I have never seen a bigger or more dishonest criminal than barak obama in my entire life. There has never been a bigger crime that the theft of trillions of American taxpayer dollars by barak obama and the retards.

If obama does not go to jail before his first term is over I will be shocked.

Most of those in healthcare are going to leave the field, or leave the country if doctors, and set up shop in the islands. What incentive would they possibly have to remain in the industry?

THERE ARE ACTUALLY "doctors" who work for large national or regional providers and they ARE ON SALARY, they own NO practice of their own. They are supporting the single payer consept. It is an advantage to them. These are corporate healthcare providers. The advantage that a single payer system to them is that it eleiminates the competition from those who are in practice for themselves.

The professionals and paraprofessionals lower in the food chain, nurses therapists ENTs are going to be the first to be screwed and the worst to be screwed, the second will be individuals like me who have VERY GOOD health insurence that I pay for myself with after-tax dollar$.

We no longer get to make our own healthcare decisions between myself my insurer and my providers and shifts that decision making to bureaucrats like those in Britain who decided that a woman who has stage IV or worse breast cancer get pain and anxiety medication only, no radiation or chemo or surgery will be "wasted" on them.

GOOD LUCK ALL!

Here is a fine example of what to expect with nationalized healthcare. One only need to look no further than the VA.

http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com...lpractice.html

And good luck suing. Obama almost showed this card in the recent speech he made to doctors...but he caught himself in time.

Hope this helps Radio, although I don't figure you to be smart enough for it to matter much.

My guess is the "& legal" part of this forum. It (this forum) just doesn't see many threads that don't have to do with RKBA.

I thought it odd also, until I realized that it was probably in the right place after all.

I started this thread here ASSUMING that since my subject was the legal aspects of what is being proposed actually MATTERED (HOW MUCH OF THE OBAMA LEGISLATION HAS ACTUALLY BEEN READ BY MEMBERS OF CONGRESS?) maybe I was wrong, maybe everyone has been sipping at the koolaid and just doesn't give a shit and are content to sit back close their eyes and think of the good of society while they get screwed?

People RIGHT HERE ON THIS FORUM bitched and screamed over the Bush use of the FISA court which had been in existence since BEFORE REAGAN TOOK OFFICE but Barry O has wiped his ass 12 times a day with THE CONSTITUTION byexecutive fiat since the day he took office and no one seems upset in the least. Oh well enjoy the change and hope to live through it.

Vlad Tepes the impaler once according to legend invited all the poor in his realm to an immense feast...where he poisoned them all and claimed having ended poverty in his kingdom.

Social Security is going broke..what better way to tax those that they can, and kill off the rest that don't "qualify".

The elderly, premature, and special needs will be left to die with his plan.

It's time to write or call your congressmen.

Ask them if they will get on the public plan if it becomes law.

Seriously.

The question for me is not whether or not we have free health care, but exactly who will be paying for it.
