Bolt carrier rivet?
Does anyone know of a source for carrier rat tail rivets? I`ve checked MSC and McMaster Carr, nothing close available. Being metric is probably an issue. I really don`t want to pay $5 per rivet to anyone.

Yes, I know. Gun Parts Guy sells them also, for $4.99.
I`m hoping to find a source more reasonable since I need 50. It`s just a silly rivet.

Anything will work as long as it is below the surface of the carrier rivet hole. Try a small screw and nut with a lock washer.

I`ve been pondering going that direction myself. Fortunately I have plenty of time at work to research the issue.
