Thumbs up WALL-E

Watched WALL-E on DVD Saturday night. Two thumbs up. As good as The Incredibles. Why is it that Pixar makes the only movies worth watching anymore?

My kids liked it. The adults liked it. Watch it or you're ghey.

You mean you got past the feel good ecofriendly bullshit and actually saw a movie?

Take all the crap out and it might have been a good movie, I couldnt get past it though....

And it was no where close to being as good as the Incredibles was.....

I know, let's abolish the Fed, get out of the u.n. and kick them out of the country, close our borders and deport all illegals, bring every military member back home and close all foreign military bases.
Cut ALL tax rates personal and business to 11%, abolish all unconstitutional federal agencies.
It'll hurt but it would help us as a country.

And Incredibles wasn't in the same League as Cars or Toy Story

My Kids just watched it over the holiday, too much political agenda, not enough dialog.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm just simple, but how do people read so much
into a cartoon for the love of Pete?

Eco-friendly?
Political agenda?

Wow guys, sit back and actually watch a movie, not tear it
apart for what you THINK might be there.

I watched it the other night with two of my granddaughters. Ages 11 & 8.
They seemed to like it.
I generally didn't mind it.
Although the environmental "messages" were heavy handed, to say the least.

The movie I saw dealt with the humans winding up solving their own problems and digging in to work together in the end to fix what had been screwed up by allowing a giant global conglomerate to take over the world with its message of gross consumerism and making worthless disposable junk. Oh yeah, and we should recycle more. (Yes, we should, but not at rabid Green party gunpoint)

Geez, a movie that basically bashes everything about Wal*Mart, and gunnies DON'T like it. Wow...

I watched it in the theater and I thought it was very good. I was expecting a full load of eco-drivel nonsense and was pleasantly surprised. I can't believe there wasn't a single "Short Circuit" joke in it though.
