Any of you know what the meaning of XM193AF is?

I have seen XM193A but what is the F for?

It's not specifically listed on the Federal web site, but my guess is it has something to do with the packaging.

This is Federal's XM193A 5.56 ammunition. XM193A is a 55 grain FMJ, brass cased, boxer primed, and non-corrosive. 10 round per stripper clip, 3 clips per cardboard sleeve, 30 sleeves per case. This ammunition is manufactured to military specifications at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. XM193A is considered the standard for which all other 5.56mm ammo is compared.

I think that the XM193AF nomenclature was used for the standard XM193A ammo that was sold on 10rd stripper clips...

F= stripper clip

But that's just a guess...
