front sight height
I have a G1 front on a para lower with a DSA reciever. but when I went to sight it in I could not get it to screw down far enough. anybody know the right height for this. If someone can give me the proper dimension I can cut it down to size if not I will have to go trial and error route. thanks

nothing wrong with trial and error. It's the way I type.
be sure the foot on the receiver is making contact with the floor of the trigger housing. A gap there will cause your problem.

No gaps, it's like the sight itself is to tall. Did they come in different heights? The barral is G1 but the lower is unknown para with DSA 150 - 250 yard flip sight.

How many dots are on your current front site? They range from 0 to 4 dots.
0 dot= 3mm, 1=3.65, 2=4.30mm, 3=4.95mm, 4=5.60mm Too much filing down will give you a lousy sight picture. You may need to buy or trade for a lower site instead. Cheers, Darrell
