Toying with the idea of selling my L1A1
I've had this rifle for about five years. It is a British L1A1 kit built on a DSA receiver. It was bought from an FAL'er n8gunner. Since owning it I've put an entire case of aussie through it w/o a single malfunction. It has the correct flash hider w/ bayonet lug and comes with the correct MOD issue bayonet. I also have the issue cleaning gear and combo tool as well as a replacment top cover/scope mount assy. The rifle alco comes with fifty (50) metric magazines.
You can see me holding the rifle in this thread. http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showt...ight=eye+candy as well as this one. (post's 50,51 and 52) http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showt...hlight=sas+kit I'm looking for a little help putting a fair market price on the package. Thanks in advance everyone. Broadsword |

A used L1A1 parts gun with DSA receiver, very good finish, and correct Maranyl furniture, with correct 922(r) sold by a private seller "on the internet" is likely to bring $750 - $850.
The disheartening thing about the current market for parts-kit FAL's is the fact that assembled gun is usually worth very little more than the value of just the parts if they were sold separately. The accessories are just that. Accessories. Few buyers in the market for a "whole gun" will be willing to pay a premium to get all your accumulated gee-gaws as part of the deal. Hold onto your parts-guns lads. For now, you are still competing with this: http://www.centerfiresystems.com/FAL-RIFLE.aspx Differences in quality be damned.
