just got my new fal need help

im in the process of stripping my rifle down..

1st question how do i get my gas system apart?
2nd how do i get my bolt extracter out?
where should i grease this gun?

or does it prefer oil?
and how do i adjust front sight?

Tom,you need to get a manual,several of the vendors on this board have
them. Also,there are people who can walk you thru it--- me, I have to have
written directions to put gas in my car so I can't help Oh by the way- welcome, this is a great board and the FAL is a GREAT rifle

Depends on the rifle, but you have to take the gas regulator off first.

An extractor tool is very helpful here. You can make one or buy one.

I like a little grease on the bolt carrier and the rails of the upper receiver but that's it/

IMO no it doesn't really need a ton of oil. I like to keep the bolt carrier happy but that's about it.

and how do i adjust front sight?

Buy a front sight adjustment tool (or make one out of an old fork the way CE does it).

A great asset is an Armorer's Course for the FAL on DVD. I got mine from AGI today and it has a lot of good stuff. You can preview the video. Here:
