WTS: STG-G1 Parts kit - refinished ~ updated

STG-G1 franken fal kit. front end, lower complete, and bipod is all austrian. and has been refinished. i do have an extra stolli FH if u want it.
The stock i beleive is G1, and so is the charging handle. there is no bolt,carrier, gas tube, recoil piston, spring or gas plug. - $400 delivered.

Gas tube dont look STG either.

unless there were a few long ones but every single STG kit ive seen (about 20) have been short.

FN manufactured StG58s had long gas tubes. Only later did Steyr go to the short tube.

I did get a very low number STG kit that did come with an aluminum charging knob.

This thread has been scarring the crap out of me! I have a similiar "STG" build that is FN not Steyr, and have wondered about some of the parts mentioned.

Might have been one of the 20,000 rifles FN sold to the Austrians. But think those had wood buttstocks (not sure if all did). I always assumed that all the Austrian FALs had plastic cocking knobs. As I said earlier, I bought a very low numbered (under 3,000) Steyr kit that did have an aluminum cocking handle so I'm still learning. It also had a FN marked top cover.

As long as the rifle shoots good and you're happy with it that's the big issue. I like the penguin furniture better than the Austrian furniture myself. Just more comfortable for me.
