NOTICE: Forum Updates

This is a notice to let you know of several changes to the forums software.

Forums Modifications

The Following Forums were removed:
Moderator Announcements
Removed Topics

I believe that no one was using either of these two forums and there was no need for them to be taking up forums space. Moderator announcements will be made in the General Discussion or Suggestions/Tech support forums in the future.


Software Enhancements

Preview Post
You can now preview your Posts, Responses and Edits before they are actually posted on the forums for all to see.
To Preview your post/edit just enter your post as you normally would and at the bottom of the page select the 'Preview' button. This will display your post as it will be shown on the board and allow you to edit it if desired or post it to the forums.

Private Message Notification
There is now a Private Message (PM) notification next to your user name when you log in. This will tell you if you have any private messages waiting for you to read. If there are any you can just click on the notification and it will send you to your profile where you can view and reply to waiting messages.

Please Note: You HAVE to reply to PM's thru the board software. You CAN NOT hit reply to the email notification that is sent to tell you that there is a PM waiting/posted. If you want to email the user direct then you will need to look up their profile to get their email address (if public).

Forum Statistics
There is now a Statistics Summary for the Forums at the bottom of the main Forums Summary Page. This details how much traffic we get, how many posts and topics, forums, Number of members, Average posts per member, etc..
