First, STGs never came with wood HGs, if that is of any importance .
Second, you don't state whether you want originals ( very pricey ) or US 922r HGs. If the latter, give Ironwood Designs a try.

Do you want to keep your -58's bipod? If so, you are out of luck with wood unless you can find some Ironwood handguards that Dan at V.O.W. modified some years ago.

Dak To eh? Knew a Shoshone that was there. Took a hunk of metal to the chest but his flak vest stopped it and left him with a big-assed bruise. I myself was in I Corps for my tour.
