I had a full auto, and sold about a dozen other vector machineguns. One had a slight problem, vector had it fixed and returned in 2 weeks.
Good quality, good customer service.

They were using as many IMI parts as possible. Those have been depleted for the most part. They try to use as many IMI lisensee parts as possible (FN & Lyttleton) when they can get them. This means they stop and start production as they get the good parts.
One thing that makes the Vectors better than IMIs is that they use through heat treated receivers. The Uzi was designed to be a low cost, disposible weapon and therefore wasn't thuroughly heat treated by IMI.

I've visited their shop a few times and FWIW the operation is professional and efficient. I would have no problem buying a Vector weapon if I were in the market for a semi-only Uzi.

Vector owner under federal Indictment
Given the owners/presidents recent indictment on over thirty felony counts as Divroli's partner in the Chinese ammo case being prosecuted out of Florida. Nothing against the quality of work Vector has done in the past but there is no telling what BATFE may do next in so far as Mr. Merrills business associations are concerned.
Wouldnt be the first time the feds seized corporate inventory or stripped license if they choose to acrually do either from what I have read, actually guilty or not you can stick a fork in Fred as hes done. At the District court level the Federal conviction conversion rate is nearly 100%, to win he will probably have to appeal and by then his lawyers will have bankrupted him. Fighting a case of this stature is not cheap. Probably not the safest place to send ones goods to right now, At least until theres a bit more information forthcoming on how Freds' problems WILL affect his company. If you don't know or haven't heard, Ralph Merrill the owner of Vector Arms was the money man and planner of the AEY Inc scam with suppling the US Military with small arms munnitions for Afganistan coalilition forces. So if you buy a Vector Uzi, Better buy spare parts now. Especially spare barrels for you FA owners.
