Samson Rail for 556

Thought you guys might like to take a look at the new Samson Railed Forearm for the 556. It replaces the rail on top of the 556 receiver as well as the 556 forearm.

This gives you one single top rail that runs from the rear sight area to the gas block. With this you can mount virtually any sighting/lighting/ grip/accessories system to your 556. Weight is a bit heavier than the stock forearm, but IMHO gives a bit of balance to the weapon. This beats any other rail system currently available for this gun, hands down!!

Here are a few pics of it on one of my 556/551 Hybrid guns. I'm sending a 551 Lower out to Scott Samson this week for him to fabricate the folder lockup mechanism that will attach to the rail for guys who want to do the 551ish conversion thing on their 556s.

I have more pics and info on this project on my Website.

Thanx for looking!
