How do to Mod carrier for Izzy C handle

Ok any one moded an Imbel, STG 58 bolt carrier to work with the Izzy charging handle? if so how did you do it.

clamp the carrier upside down in your machine vise. Utilize a 3/16 carbide or maybe even Hss cutter at about 600-900 rpm ( flood coolant could be vital). Now on side that touches CH lug, touch off with cutter or use edge finder. Measure between portruding Forward assist lug and stationary lug. That is how far off the edge of the of the carrier that you start the groove. The groove is about like 1.5 inch long ( need to take er apart and look) and as deep as the FAssist lug portrudes ( extra .005 for good measure with a dremel is always good). I would also leave about extra .010 between face of carrier and start of groove for clean up with a dremel ( unless you have a CNC that has .000001 preset tooling, perfect speeds, feeds and harmonized/balanced spindle etc etc). Or I'd do it for $18 which includes USPS priority return shipping.
