PPU/Prvi Partizan case longevity
I bought some of the cheap Prvi boxer-primed .308 ammo a while back in hopes of finding a cheap source of .308 brass for reloading.
I have to report, though, that the cases start to corrode within days of tumbling/trimming/etc - I've shot my first batch of handloads using this brass with no issues, but I'd have to be desperate to load these again. The Remington brass which I loaded at the same time and kept under the same storage-conditions have exhibited no such signs. |

That's interesting!
I reloaded some .303 Brit Prvi Patizan several months ago & it's like new still! I wonder what the difference is? |

Something is causing the brass to corrode....wonder if it is inclusions or something external?

That's a Pisser. I have some twice fired Graf's .308 brass (purchased brass only, not loaded ammo) that's made by Privi - it's been sitting in the ammo box since Dec-06. It's fine.
