WTS: SA 1945 M1 Garand

Here are all the details.

Serial Number 33855xx Jan. 1945

Barrel 1 S-A-2-45 Solid 3 on the TE gauge. Barrel at chamber is in the white. Bore is bright and shiny. Opposite end of TE gauge goes in only 3/8" of an inch. Muzzle is pretty tight. No sign of aggresive cleaning.

HRA marked safety

Hammer is stamped SA C5546008

Trigger housing stamped 6528290-SA

Op - rod is stamped D35382 9 SA

Right side of lower frame stamped A 27 B D2829135

Bolt stamped D28287 - 18SA B4C

Stock has been sanded and refinished with a few small dents filled in. Circle 'P" on heel.

Finish appears original as far as I can tell. Not much wear at all. Lock bar sights work perfectly. Overall a real nice 1945 M1. Nice collectable M1 or would make a fine shooter.
