If these are Remington bullets,
SPCL = Soft Point Core-Loct
PSPCL = Pointed Soft Point Core-Loct
MC = Metal Case ????

Just a guess.

Thanks. I just got the "Blue Press" which is Dillon Precision's catalog. I was going to make an order so that I could put my reloading press to some good use.

Sometimes the "CL" stands for "Cannelure".

A very good guess. The only other manufacturer which uses "CL" is Hornady in their silhouette pistol bullets where it means "Crimp Lock". Cannelure is usually indicated by a "w/cn" or "w/can". "MC" isn't used much these days, but used to be used extensively for metal case, perhaps "metal clad" on occasion (same thing). Another suggested metal core, but there are few jacketed bullets which do not have a metal core (oddball gallery practice ammo being the exception I can think of off the top of my head).
