It's a US made blank most probably with a LC (Lake city) headstamp.

Yes, the round has L C 7 9 for a headstamp. the end of the round is hollow, not crimped. inside the hole is red 'paint'? i thought it was a blank, but it's not crimped. what does a grenade launching round look like compared to a blank?
Thanks Jason ndm86 |

i have 20 to 30 lake city 'blanks' all connected with M60 links. i have some other rounds on what i thought was M60 links. did they make more than one type of M60 link?? are the blanks worth anything??
By the Way. I have a Izzy HB project with all the correct DSA parts for USA law(bullship). Here is what happened. I unscrewed the two receiver parts. everything fell out. how do i put it all back together???? Thanks and yes this is my first FAL. Jason ndm86 ndm86@hotmail.com |

It's a Lake City blank. I have a 300 or more of them on links, in the heavy waxed boxes in the little cloth ditty bags. A friend gave me 2 belts of it when he came home from summer camp a few years ago.
