Ammo Storage

I bought some 3x2 foot tupperware type containers to store ammo in long term.
Is it possible to keep it too dry if I put
a couple of desi-pacs in each container?

IMHO, the only real good way to store ammo is the same way the gov. does, the metal ammo boxes with the rubber gasket, throw in a couple of desicant packs and, your good for 20 yrs, tuppa ware and related plastic stuff just don`t hold up, plus, if you have to move the stuff in a hurry (fire, bug out or what)that steel can will take being thrown around..food for thought
