First range trip of the new year.

Well I did a little shooting on the 31st. But spent about 6-7 hours today shooting and b.s. with my friends at the local spot. Everything went good. Though I had to get on one idiot young guy who was shooting too wide instead of straight ahead. I got the camera for christmas too. Had some of the yugoslavian m75 SNIPER 8mm with me. At the distance I was shooting the hotshot 139 grain soft tips were more accurate. So... whatever. I was shooting igman through the fals. I need to get a brass savr! But the flashholes are small in this shit anyways. Well here are the photos.

We setup the small thing infront do to a 25m sight in and then the targets in the back are at about 70m or so but the silouhette is alot smaller than a full sized so it's like we were shooting a little over 100m. You can see a few little water bottles I setup too.

Shot a friends .45 kimber. I need some practice but I got the last one heh.

I think i'm getting up to a decent speed charging my mauser. Considering I'm a lefty. But it's a straight bolt so it's not bad. The last time I start smacking on the handle The clip was empty so uh that's why it wouldn't close If you look closely you can see my impacts in the bottom right corner. I was aiming for the dark spot.

Looks like a perfect day to shoot! Besides, if it gets too cold, it looks like all you need to do is stand by that SKS,,,the color alone should warm you up!

Yeah even though it was sunny it was in the 50's or so probably. Maybe a little lower. Warmed up after noon.

Nice L1. Atleast you don't have to contend with snow. Makes brass scrounging a might bit difficult. Aren't Mausers fun?
