Damn I wash I had the cash for that one. That's less than I paid for my 50.42 a while back! And mine didn't have the box!

When shooting the heavy barrel fal's off the bi-pod does it throw off the elevation like it does with the standard barrel fal's?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't shift the point of impact.

With the heavy barrel FAL, using the bipod is about the ONLY way to shoot it! They are so heavy, I never shoot offhand with mine.
For that I use my 50.00 So I guess I'm of no help whatsoever.....lol

Since the FAL isn't being offered in MARKETPLACE...I'm going to slam it. If you'll look at the pictures, it's OBVIOUS it's well used and NOT "like new in the box" as specified.
This Gunbroker ad is typical of the ignorant sellers that haven't a clue about the condition of what they're selling. God forbid they should refer to the NRA's Published Standards! The good news is that so far, no one's bought it...I suppose it because of the rediculous price and questionable condition. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Rediculous price for the actual condition maybe.....but in line for one that is actually "as new". I didn't look at it that close earlier, but it does appear a bit on the "rode hard" side......

I agree, It is kind of sad that these have climbed in price to the extent you loose money if you shoot them. It is kind of like muclecars, you can't enjoy them like they were intended to be enjoyed. That 50.41 looks like and costs like (in relative terms) a well used Hemi/LS6/CJ car. I remember..........

HB Fal on GB
Yeah that HB Fal on GB isn't in that kind of condition for that price range, But its a dealer that thinks he/she has something special. GSI imported. Theirs been nicer ones in the last 60 days on GB for less money.

Yeah, I'd say that one is in the high 2's like maybe $2800 NOT WORTH WHAT HE'S ASKING imho
I want one but want the Wood butt stock I guess a 50.42? I will not buy one unless it has a type 1 or most preferably a type 2 receiver I just can't see paying that much for a type 3 |

HERE'S THE BIBLE GUYS...IF YOU DON'T USE IT YOU'RE UNSCRUPULOUS; IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT YOU OUGHT NOT OWN FIREARMS!
NRA MODERN GUN CONDITION STANDARDS: NEW: Not previously sold at retail, in same condition as current factory production. PERFECT: In New condition in every respect. EXCELLENT: New condition, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing perfect, (except at muzzle or sharp edges). VERY GOOD: In perfect working condition, no appreciable wear on working surfaces, no corrosion or pitting, only minor surface dents or scratches. GOOD: In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning. FAIR: In safe working condition but well worn, perhaps requiring replacement of minor parts or adjustments which should be indicated in advertisement, no rust, but may have corrosion pits which do not render article unsafe or inoperable.

308s - that's what kit guns and FrankenFals are for - gettin' dirty and havin' fun with
Havong a couple of the aforementioned is what frees your conscience for having a rifle or two just for holding and worshipping Pretty FMAP - as you know, while mine coesn't still have its' "papers", it is otherwise a twin and is also a"Queen". Sometimes just the pleasure of ownership is enough.............

Just about exactly what I was going to suggest. That's why we have Imbel-on-Imbel kits to build (and shoot and shoot and abuse).

Rather go for a pair of DSA or Dunk rifles and a case of ammo for that kind of money.
That HB is nice though. For what its worth, my STG will rapid fire a 300 yard 15" gong and hit 7 out of 10 at around 2 shots a second. Off the bipod. I've only tried it once so far. But if I was going to scope it, and really stretch it out say 6 to 800 yds id consider maybe a freefloat handguard with the bipod screwed to that. Medium contour comes to mind
