bolt won't close

It seems that I have a slight bind in the reciever,
while closing bolt slowly,it stops about 3/4 of the
way closed,a RKI suggested that since it's a Hesse
it is probably out of spec (reciever). When it stops,
all I have to do to get it to close completely, is tap
it lightly with my fingertip.Question is could I use
copper sulfate to give me an indication of where it is
binding and then use valve lapping compund to relieve
the bind? Thanks in advance for y'alls replies.

Most likely, it is hanging up on the HAMMER spur as it slowly rides over it..This is common when you are just monkeying around with it and letting the bolt close slowly. Most ALL Fals will do this. if it hangs up when you charge the weopon like you mean it, then you may have another problem.

I agree with Rich! The hammer is holding it open at that point. If it hangs when closing the bolt from the "Bolt Hold Open Device" or from the full charge position, then you have a different problem.

Take care

Just a NOTE; incase you had some dim light go off in your head, thinking you can just remove some of that hammer spur material that may bug ya so much..DONT, It is needed to set the hammer when cycling back. it will smooth out on it`s own.. 2-300 rounds usually..
