Any 8mm around?

Where did all the 7.92X57 stuff go? Any available that anyone knows of? Thanks.

Some Yugo "Sniper" ammo is available from Aim, Widener's and Dan's Ammo. Selling price is about $.40 per round. If you happen to live on LI, NY, I have some I am looking to part with(Yugo 50's). You can PM me.

Any steel case German WW-2 vintage 7.92X57 should be carefull examined for corosion inside the cartridge case. Over the years the powder will cause some rusting, and usually in the shoulder area is where the case can rust thru from inside out. Best to take down a few rounds, and inspect for rust. Other wise, it,s good for collecting or pulling down for the bullets.

so you would not shoot WWII german 8mm ammo?
i have cut apart about 15 of the steel cased ones(3/4 of the 8mm i have is brass german WWII) and most were rust free, and the ones with rust had bareley enough to notice, and that is only if you look very closeley.

annyone know where i could look to sell this stuff to a collector? it is clean and fireable.

Interesting times...
For those of us that have several thousand rounds of 8mm layed back...why hasn't the cost of those Yugo mausers and M-49's not gone down. Or do I just need to exercise some patience and they will????

If there is no rust inside the steel cartridge case, and I had a load of the WW-2 German 7.92X57 mm cartridges I would fire them.
